Big news (possibly?). Gavita + Trancend join to make led fixtures

you think its just rebadged existing products? press release hints at new products in dev.
 
it cant be true because @ttystikk said gavita was going down lmao.i would think by now gavita would be designing a cob panel to beat their de setups.i know someone using those led replacements in his t5 fixtures and he likes them.i wanna say he paid about 25 each though.

Yeah if i was a betting man I'd say you are right. If they do it's understandable. Not saying I like it though lol.

speaking of those i was at HD this evening and they were $5.92 in 10 lots so i grabbed a bunch (for office lighting) and maybe revive one from the pile of 20-year-old t12 shop lights in my garage
 
hopefully a big name gets into the LED business so we can get some decent options for a larger scale light, instead of every LED I see being made for a closet grow with a mega big price tag.
