Steely Dan did have an awesome studio engineer but I've yet to see any album cover the entire audible spectrum like Jazz fom hell,I turned my HiFi shop owner into the album & ever since it's the album he uses to set up customers home theaters with.

Now I'm wanting to hear some steely Dan before bed ,its hard to understand how america went from every kid wanting to play an instrument,with bands like Mahavishnu orchestra ,Zappa steely dan etc,all pushing the limits of technique to Justin bieber with 2 turn tables & a microphone ,now lady gaga owns the Zappa studios & you know kanye west & Justin bieber will record there,makes me I'll .
