No one has ideal holders it's like finding a needle in a haystack lolyes thats all in stock except for the 50-21000an adapters, at 28 you'll run me out, im ordering more today so will ahve them by end of week. but youre missing ideal holders for those adapters and reflectors. nobody has them, theyre a few weeks out.if you want to mount them quicker get the bjbs and the reflectors that match them (no adapter needed)
the stock on the website is correct 99% of the time with the occasional odd exception or large orders ike you mention. i generally reorder holders when i get down to 20-30pc. been trying to get the ideal holders for over a month already its a factory shortage
If I order just the cobs is that okyeah youre at 200V with 4 of those... people have done it with BJBs.. im not going to get into whether its wrong or right
my current ship date is 10/28 on the ideals.... i ordered them in early september
order placed16 of 3550 k & 16 4000kwont hurt my feelings! i might get lucky and get teh ideals earlier but who knows.. i was supposed to have them by now
Ok sounds Good. Thank you.yeah they went out today. keep those other ones. no point in spending $3 to return $4 in adapters. someday you might need them
No it worked out ok. I am still back and forth on which frame i want to go with. I'm moving out of my tent in November into a 7'x7'x6.5' room i'm building with Rtek. I think i am going to go with 36L" rectangular frames with 9" cob spacing to cover a 3x4 flower area. I will be building another light and frame to go with the one i have so there will be 8 (1812's) cobs run with 2 HLG-240h-c1050b drivers over the 3x4. Still working details out as you can see.glad i caught it and hope it didnt slow you down!
I don't envy you a bit there. It will be cool to see what you come up with on the final product. You got some really great stuff on your website and it seems people are catching on to the cob scene. Everything sells out so fast. You guys selling theses parts aren't even really pulling any profit on what you are selling the parts for. I really researched some of the places to buy parts and you guys are barley making a dime after shipping and everything is said and done. Expensive hobby but it sucks a person in really fast.story of my life. im talking to the local fab guys this week so hopefully i have affordable bolt together racks soon. i have a good universal design down but hand drilling and tapping is a killer on anything you wish to sell
i can get a cob with a cooler and a fan for less than I can a single chip from digikey. even with the bullshit shipping to canada all said an done its less expensive to order from cobkits than anywhere in canadaI don't envy you a bit there. ive been experimenting with some clips that clip in between the fins so you can hang from that. other than that like a sit-down-on-it option like the mod420 plates, though im not sure they are sized to hold it.. it should as im pretty sure those hold 105s. as i work on the frames it will evolve. i like these high power solutions a lot- so easy.how do you recommend hanging your light engines?. i mean if all else fails im gonna make something with wood... but what is recommended?
Yep that was my whole point. Cobkits and Robin are great for prices.i can get a cob with a cooler and a fan for less than I can a single chip from digikey. even with the bullshit shipping to canada all said an done its less expensive to order from cobkits than anywhere in canada
