Thanks for all the well wishes. I got my gas tanks filled up, got my propane for cooking, got a bottle of moonshine, and a shit load of ammo in case I need to kill a rabbit or something tasty. I just hope the power stays on so my plants don't have to sit in the dark. Really if it were not for the plants, I wouldn't mind the power going out. Yeah it will be hot but fuck it, I have weed and moonshine! I hope everyone stays safe, I hear the storm has already taken at least 8 lives in the Caribbean. I have lived through 3 direct hits from hurricanes and it can be pretty bad, so here is to hoping this thing stays well out to sea. I may be off for a couple days if the power goes out, but I will try to keep in touch as long as I have juice. The bad part is supposed to start tomorrow afternoon and it is forecast to be bad until Friday afternoon. We shall see. I'm growing the same 2 strains Lisa.Looking good!.Mine are 1 day old.Will take pic on week 1 & every week that passes.Hoping to have them ready for Xmas.

I'm sort of a prepper. I hunt, fish, trap and grow my own food. We raise beef, pork and chickens. I hunt wild meat. We can a lot of stuff.

That naturally includes guns for hunting. I also have a crossbow and compound bow. I also have a high powered rifled pellet gun for hunting to.

All of this is not due to fear of the economy collapsing. Its just the way I was raised.

How many oz. In your bugout bag? I only keep 3, i feel like i could use more, but the camel pack only fills so far if you over stuff

Same here @whitebb2727 minus the livestock. We also hunt, fish and can our own food as well as dehydrate and vacuum seal our food. Dry goods in 5 gallon buckets with mylar too. I agree on being self resourceful.
 
i have stomach problems so hunting and canning stuff isn't much use to me, but i've learned some useful skills for if it all falls apart. i can make anything out of leather, up to and including saddles, and i make things like this in full scale when i have the room
100_2135.JPG 100_2136.JPG this will throw a marble across the street hard enough to dent your neighbors mailbox if you fill it with fishing weights. i know that because.....just because. the biggest one i've made so far would throw a softball over a block with 120 lbs in the basket....i aspire to this

i'm "crazy", they won't let me have guns. no law against trebuchets, though. or ballistae, or catapaults. thinking about making a collapsible modular unit to go in the back of a truck in pieces, re-assemble in 10 minutes or so, throw a bowling ball at least a block....
i got good enough with the one that would throw softballs i could hit a fireplug a block away 3 times out of 5, never really got to try a moving target. guy used to drive by in a gremlin...he was just asking for it
 
Hey guys and gals I lost another lady down to 3 I don't know what happened it was a runt and stayed almost blueish green then fell over.. don't know.
