Yeah Jack kinda talked me into doing the comparative. I'm planing on doing it organic water only and 2 blooming at 18/6 and 2 at 14/10 to get a total weight and time measurement.

Most likely won't pop till the week of Nov. 14.......IF the beans get here!

mine are in the mail,, I was thinking of starting my next grow on Nov 1 there abouts,

They are not meant to be flowered at 24/0 ! (where does this shit come from anyway?)
You simply CAN do it that way!
12/12 won't "hurt" anything......

But only to a point!
I don't care what type of strain they are....You better be giving them a dark period outside of veg, AND I don't "like" 24/0 for veg either!

It's sadly obvious that many (and you) around here do not understand just how plants work. Just because it doesn't need darkness to bloom, doesn't mean it's better or "OK" to run it 24/0!

I'll bet dimes to dollars that down to 14/10 WILL produce so close to 24/0 that it's not worth measuring. IN FACT! I bet 18/6 out yields 24/0 and 20/4 by measurable amounts! DUE to plants processes taking place IN that dark period!

I suggest you take some classes in Botany and Horticulture.....Understanding how a plant works and why.....clears a path through myth and legend...

One thing I have read from growers who do nothing but autos is that keeping them on 24/0 until they do begin flowering retards flowering for a while allowing the plants to get quite a bit bigger before the onset of budding. Then they switch to 20/4 or 18/6 claiming the extra hours of light over 12 do increase yields a substantial amount. Kinda makes sense to me as the ruderalis grow where they get intense sunlight for 20 hours a day during the peak of their growing season. We get 18 a day here and I'm only at 60 north. Getting frost every day now.

They do seem to respond to higher levels of light as well with about 80W/sqft HID really rocking their world.

I've grown quite a few autos but haven't really been trying for yields as I was just breeding the few beans I had to make more beans and size doesn't matter for that.

I've had to flip them to 12/12 after 1 month of 20/4 because I don't have the room anymore?
There in the tent with my fem amnesia now so will just have to hope for the best
