Grow closet design, final thoughts and critique?

I have a closet, 47cm wide, 55cm deep, and 2.3 meters high as shown in the picture. I plan on growing one flower probably using lst and scrog. The extra space at the top I was considering using to dry herb, without any smell escaping, that's why I included a smaller hole there, just so the carbon filter could work.

I was considering a tiny clone / veg room, with a weaker LED, but I don't think the space for it is enough.

Thoughts? I didn't know how to edit in the ducting, so you'll have to imagine it.

Also there will be 2 oscilating fans in the big room, just haven't added them.

With all the essentials deducted from the 2.3 meters I'm left with 150cm, or 125cm with the drying shelf. Not sure how much I will need for plants, but I hate having to worry about the height. And the LED distance is already included in the calculation.

No takers? ^^ I'm pretty certain I only want to run 1 plant at a time, or perhaps a few small ones. I don't have the need for a veg room. I smoke like 10 grams of weed a month, so 1 plant and I'd be set for a year almost.

Well I doubt I can cram 4 plants into a 47cm by 55cm space. Wouldn't I be better off just scrogging 1 plant? or perhaps 2? And the idea pays off with 1 plant. The project will cost me 600$ tops. And if I get 100grams out of that I have already made the money back in theory.

your going to keep 2 to 4 clones right and just flower 1 to 4 what ever you feel is best

depends if you want to do a few strains and stagger the harvest or clone off one mum and grow one plant or a few

you can set it up how you like, if I`m not trimming up 3zips min of top buds I sorta get bored and wonder if its worth my time or the trouble to set up the drying rack

Do what`s going to suit you and your life as its a micro grow and its just for you

If you think you`ll let the herbs dry out nice and cure for a month or 2 before you smoke it then maybe one big plant is better but if you plan to rush dry and smoke it all fast then I would go for 2 to 4 week harvests

something nice about getting a new strain or new plant to try every 1/2 weeks but going for every 4/8 weeks can be less hassle

I can't really see how I would be able to fit a veg room in there properly. I have 150cm to work with. For flowering + veg room.

30cm is about the least you need for rooting up clones and vegging them a wee bit

I guess you could always just pop a seed or let a cutting root up in a draw or by the window if you wanted to speed things up

But 30cm + 20 cm for LED distance.. that's 50cm, then I got 100cm left for the flowering room. That's not a lot :/

you don`t need 20cm use low power leds or cfl`s or you stuff the light in one corner and grow the plants from the other corner

I`ve use a 30cm area, 50cm area and 60cm area, with a main stem bend I could grow 50cm plants and move them up to flower finishing around 1m, think my area was 180cm tall, so yeah I had 30cm on you

but yeah 1w led chips the plants can almost touch them with no harm

once you get to 3w chips you need some space and cob`s obviously need some space

but you can veg 4 to 8 plants with a few low powered lights

but keep it simple till you get your shit down

I could perhaps split the drying room into two, and make it a bit taller, so it has a veg section, and a drying section. I really need a place to dry that won't create smell problems in my apartment.

Just veg/clone in the drying room, turn off the lights the day you harvest and leave the plants in the dark for a day to induce flowering or put them or it right into your flowering chamber

I mean if your drying then your little ones should be ready to go into flower

then you can take some clones off them when they go into flower leave the clones in the dark or in the bloom room and move them over to your veg/drying area after your herb is dry and veg them there, should work

so you`ll have a drying/veg area and a bloom area, you can make that work for you man no problem
