'nanners look like little bunches of bananas and not one stringy piece so you're ok like THCBrain says.

Here's a pic I took of a 'nanner on one of my plants last year.

They are not meant to be flowered at 24/0 ! (where does this shit come from anyway?)
You simply CAN do it that way!
12/12 won't "hurt" anything......

18/6 or 20/4 seems to be the popular Auto light cycle around here,,
I agree with @Dr. Who
When I travel south, I see "ditch" weed all over along the highways....A lot of that is a form of ruderalis that will bloom on it's own....
While these are getting natural sun light by season. The Rude's will bloom earlier then the photo's and that's a dead giveaway.

The point is that, 16/8 or 14/10 is more "natural" for light exposure during blooming......The only thing you might really gain in any measure...maybe finishing time..I don't feel it makes the extra electric cost worth the 18/6 or above!

learn something new everyday lol i never took much interest just heard 12/12 makes them underperform
i have some auto seeds coming,, been reading up on them around here,, some like autos,, some laugh at them,,, but they have a place for some growers,,, sure 12 12 works,, is it the best?,,, but it works,,, most go with 18/6,,, most discussions center around giving the plants a little rest,,, but there is a guy in the auto section with an easy thread, and his plants run 24 on,, and they look great,, makes it kinda hard to screw up an auto,,, most feel the longer light times will give you a little more yeild,,
and thats what I have learned thus far,, hahaha,,

Yeah Jack kinda talked me into doing the comparative. I'm planing on doing it organic water only and 2 blooming at 18/6 and 2 at 14/10 to get a total weight and time measurement.

Most likely won't pop till the week of Nov. 14.......IF the beans get here!
