brown hairs mean time to harvest?

I know when the trichomes look cloudy you're supposed to harvest. I have a 60x Jeweler's loupe and I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out if the trichomes are cloudy or if they're clear. I seriously can't tell one way or the other. But I also read that if most of the hairs are brown and curled in that also means it's ready to harvest. So my question is can I ignore looking at the trichomes and just watch for the hairs to turn brown to know when it's time to harvest? Looking at the hairs are a lot easier than looking through a Jeweler's loupe at the microscopic trichomes. Thanks

so you can do that yes. if you grow the same strain over and over you'll get a feel for how it looks when YOU like it.

with that said, watch the hairs turn orange, red, brown, burgundy, pink, whatever, and pay attention to see if it is going to push out a whole new set of hairs. when the originals have receded into the calyx and the new ones have pretty much all turned darker you can be pretty damn sure it's ripe. you'll be extra stoned for sure.

55 days flowering. Super glue strain. Flowering time says 54 days when i looked it up on line
