May I ask how much power the solar panels are putting out and their cost? Also is it covering your COB power usage?
Do you use any T5s for vegging?

Beautiful pool area and plants.

I have been trying to use clear polycarbonate panels in the building but the sun generates tons of heat. I am dealing with an 8 ft ceiling. I think it would be better with 12 foot ceilings and in winter.

This not my house. I'm helping my friend out and I forgot to ask what his solar output is. But he told me his bill went from $6000 every other month to $600+ and he has 20k of HPS which will slowly replaced with CXB3590s as for the cobs there is only 400w panels and I will be adding more when I upgrade to passive I'll replace the HPS he has. I'm glad he listened too me about solar. I'm to blow up because I'll be using the lights I'm gonna sell and if you wanna make a light I'll hook you up the best I can. I used to use T5 but cobs kill it. You can veg with just 10w per sqft I do it with my 6500k DD bins 72v @500ma and then turned down 50% and it's like over70% efficient REAL talk lol.

I have a California State Medical Marijuana card so does he and I'm allowed 150 plants and 12lbs of dried flower and his is crazy because of his car accident it was worst than mine but he can grow a lot.

What is that grow media? The guy at the grow store recommended it over hydroton. Do you like it? Do you have white plastic on the floor?

On the new fixtures, what are those black boxes on either side of the drivers? The lights and that brand of hydro setup plus the chiller are killer. Green with envy.

nice setup. After he converts over to all led lights he can sell power back on the grid. That looks to be about a 12 panel setup with a power wall for connection and distribution through existing power panel. About $20k start up costs looks like to me. Should be getting about 15k on an average day sunny day, all day long. Great for the climate and the plants too. Why store power when you have to maintain the battery pack, plus they are expensive. Wait for Elon Musk and he will have cheap batteries soon from Nevada desert. nce setup and grow bro. peace
