Seeds

I have been collecting some seed bank seeds. My very first grow is a couple of weeks away from harvest. My question is. I have this bag of seeds given to me from a friend. Should I grow 1 or 2 out with my known seed strains or not? Ideas please!

A couple few of those dont really look viable to me, if you are going to grow those out, i suggest picking through them first and only keeping the large dark ones, the light green and white ones dont look ripe yet. Then plant the ones you kept, all of them, kill off the slow growers and weak plants, then let the strongest live to sexing, kill or seperate out the males and grow the rest..save the purchased seeds for when you have more confidence in your next run with the extra experience

I like that idea!

Nice lookin indica strain, looks a little high in N in those shots, but nice fat colas still, what week was that pic in and how long till they finished up?
Pics was taken a few days ago. This Wednesday make 8 weeks at 12/12 but to me it doesn't even look close with all of the white pistils.

Yeah, id say at least 3 more, the 2 i have in flower now are at week 5 of 9-10 and have close to the same pistils as yours do, but pistils can be misleading, bob bitchen just ran a SOG that usually finishes in 8 weeks and at week 11 still looked like the pistils were week 5

I didn't even know it was indica. It got really tall. The tallest cola is about 7'. I thought indica's stayed short?
Not all indicas stay short, its more about the leaf shape and bud structures, im sure its actually a hybrid, but looks to be very indica leaning

I veged them indoors for awhile. Put them outside when they were about 3' tall because I was in the process of building my flower room. They started getting bugs on them outside so I brought them back in while I finished building and treated them for several weeks and then August 10 switched to 12/12.
