You'll have to do some very heavy training. Also depends on your light too. I have had 6 foot autos before. Now I'm doing what ever I can to gain an inch. I took off my tables casters to save 2 inches and reconfigured the hangers on the Amares to get them higher as well. This strain is very sensitive to light so I'm in a tough position. 4 feet seems to be the standard with these though. That leaves you in a bad spot.hey, how tall do your autos usually end up, my grow cab has about 6 feet of grow space, the top 1 foot is for fans and filters, and the bottom foot is for the containers, leaving me about 4 feet max for plants,, is that do able?
i have always grown photos in my box, and flip at the right time,You'll have to do some very heavy training. Also depends on your light too. I have had 6 foot autos before. one of the reasons a friend led me to your thread was because of the large autos,, i was thinking about growing my 4 rec legal plants outdoors here, but be able to get them finished before the rainy season, thats the beauty I would think for me in growing autos here in OregonYes but your yield will probably suffer too. I only like to grow strains the produce. Low rider and short stuff seeds seem to be on the 1-4 oz side. Fuck that
A lot of auto hate but they are just newer and different. Most photo guys aren't willing to give them a fair shot so they talk shit. Then if they do give them a shot they treat them like photos and mess em up anyways. Mine are only a few days into flower and already have oz's on each plant and covered in resin. If I can keep temps low they will surely be a serious crop. Check out tang, he grows a lot of autos. Only uses 150w of light too and his are drenched in resin. Hopefully this run proves a lot for the auto future. Definitely on targetone of the reasons a friend led me to your thread was because of the large autos,, i was thinking about growing my 4 rec legal plants outdoors here, but be able to get them finished before the rainy season, thats the beauty I would think for me in growing autos here in Oregon
Great stuff man, makes me want to try some autos soon. Anyway, you seem to be experienced with the SE450 panels and I wanted to pick your brain real quick. How do you think one of these would work in a 6' x 2' space with a light mover? I have a 315 watt CMH in there right now but I've lusted after these amare panels for a while and I want to upgrade and can't decide between the SE450 and a SP400. I like the uvb bulb and the footprint of the 450 but I'm concerned it'd be too big for my space. How hot do these bad boys run?
I like the shape of the pro4, it'd fit perfectly in the space and I'd save some room up top for filters and what not. The price isn't bad either. I'm not a DIY guy when it comes to electronics so these amare panels look to be my best option. I plan on mounting it on a 4 foot light mover above 3 individual scrog screens. The scrog system with the mover will guarantee an even canopy with ample coverage for each plant, should be a big increase in efficiency and yield versus my current setup.Heat wise you would probably be close to the cmh against the pro4. This light isn't a toy lol. It's more of a commercial light and with that comes a little loss in efficiency. Driving the 3590's to 100w each takes a lot of power too. Meanwell is the best driver going IMO and the pro4 has 4 of them in it. I think the pro3 uses meanwell too but driven softer which means it's a little cooler. No matter which light you choose it's a great decision. Mine have paid for themselves in additional yield never mind total yield. With the autos being so fast and growing so big 1 plant would pay for 2 pro4's in 75 days.
This was done by someone you know and they brought someone who grows with them to cut the shit down. That's not a crazy take everything robbery bro. I am so sorry..........I only had a few oz's in there. Not sure if it was locked or not. The lock is gone. Who ever did this had to have known me. I have a key pad entry and only 2 people were ever behind me when I opened it. They left everything here besides the plants. Tools, lights, ext. they were even careful around the small plants
Fuck broski. The bike club is a nice asset to have.I'm best friends with the pres of a local bike club. Not sure it's any help but they staked out 2 houses of guys I suspected. People get nervous with the tip of an Ar down their throat. I'll either figure if it's him or have a wet spot to clean up. This shits far from over. I had to hold the big guys back from breaking bones. Now it's really fucked they took 10 day flower plants. They might get high from it but they were so immature and won't amount to much once they are dried. They also walked by 2grand worth of tools and left even the lights sitting on the floor. Left my unlocked enclosed trailer alone that was right next to the room. They had to have known me and didn't want to fuck me to bad.
