Are you still letting them sit in water?
It's been a few days. You need to have patience.

Don't give them any food, wait until they recover from the standing water. You'll know when they do.

You'll have to wait until they want it. Let them dry up, but not wilt. Water then, letting water run out. Get rid of the waste water.

Keep it simple. I use basic pots. DO NOT SAVE THE WATER THAT COMES OUT!
