Careful. Deer arent rabies vector species but if bitten by something rabid can and will become infected so its a possiblity this may have happened which wpuld explain why it didnt run off. I wouldnt go anywhere near it again.

My ten day forecast just went from ten days of Chance of a Thunderstorm, to six days of that, and 4 days of Thunderstorm. We got an inch and a half in 30 minutes today. Don;t you love farming?that's looking tastey
Yeah my middle of the week rains came on Sunday, blew 30-50 for 1/2 of the day and rained like 3" in under an hour, 2 days in a row now. Had one of the doors shut going out to the front patio and motherfucking birds came in from the back patio and topped all my seedlings, gotta love farming, fuck, that was all my Treeman seedlings!!!
The crazy thing was it was sunny with blue sky's all morning. When I first heard the thunder, the cloud was so low on the horizon I couldn't see it for another half hour.
