1 big plant vs 4 small ones

In my grow area only real constraint is space. I only have a 1 meter square tent.

I've always grown 4 plants in a sgrog in there and the plan is always to fill the space with those 4 plants. but if i took the time m to veg 1 or maybe 2 plants and scrogg them to fill the space would those more established and more mature plants be able to yield more than growing 4 plants vegged for less time or would it be pretty much the same?

I'm thinking the bigger plants would grow bigger colas

Good question. For me at first though, id say no 4 will give one the same number as 1 big plant. However just recently a member mentioned in his thread that he believes you get more more out of ones plant if you veg longer. I don't think he meant yield more maybe he did but i think he meant characteristics. But the motherfucker does grow a beast of a plant or plants. Look up @sixstring2112 thread. If i could post a link i would, I don't know how though.

It sounds about like my situation. I used to grow four plants, now I run 2..For the exact reason you're debating... I like bigger buds.. easier to trim about the same yields but I'm just getting the canopy shapes for 2 figured out. Good luck..

For me I have 6 double dream that are going 4 weeks veg...I want to pick up a 4x4 tent...but I think I might have vegged too long. By the time I get the tent. So I was thinking of making clones...I've alway like the look of a lot of small plants ....but not sure about yield...

My first grow started with 6 plants. I'll take no more than 3 into flower in my next grow for the same reasons mentioned above. If I only had 3'x3' though I'd go with a single beast for sure, in at least a 5G, maybe 7G pot. Any way you look at it (unless you're running small strains) anything over 2 plants will be inefficient.
