What can be added to the grow process or drying/ curing process to give your smoke different flavors? Is it even possible to accomplish this. I use molasses my first grow which was an indoor grow while watering. But I didn't really notice if it did anything for the taste. Other grows have been outside just water and nutes, taste the same as with the molasses indoor grow.

Its all in the peno mang. Peno and strain. Those are what decieds smell,flavor, and potancy....as long as you cure properly.

Growing means nothing if you cant cure. Imo

The most important thing is to not stress the plant out during flower and not adding too much Nitrogen late in flower. Adding molasses which is very acidic isn't really all that helpful, people add entirely too much. Home made em1 with organics uses less molasses per gallon than most people use per watering. Don't go crazy adding stuff thinking it's going to improve taste you just need a stable plant that flowers without stress and then the rest is genetics + cure

Ripeness is key when it comes to taste and smell. If picked ripe it will stink when dry, and curing makes it even better. If weed is not ripe it will not stink.

Chemically, you can enhance some "flavors/odors", by enhancing terps. Certain chemicals used in growing (and by the plant of course) can enhance certain terps.
Mag. sulfate = More berry like.
Potassium sulfate = more citrus like (lemon)

I have never been able to figure out Gen Hydro's "FloraNector" line though! They package it in, oh what is it? 6 flavors? The thing is that each one is the exact same thing! The same concentration of Mag sulfate and K sulfate, with some cane sugar and molasses.
Like someone said in another thread/topic - placebo effect, I guess

If you have to adulterate your buds then you don't have dank. Properly grown cannabis has all the flavors you want, and more. I love the taste of pure bud, nothing can beat the taste.
