the box being 2'1 wide x 3' long and 7' high.. i will use a 400 watt hps.. this box will be for flowering only... i was going to use a squirl cage fan for exhaust and one bathroom fan at the bottom of the box for inlet... i want to use another up top to pull out air (exhaust) on the opposite side of the squirl cage. then have another fan that blows on the tops of the plants at all times... i'll have the hps 1 foot away from the tips of the plants at all times and when it's at it's highest point it will still have 2 inches between the top of the light and the ceiling to keep air circulation around itt.

i would want to vent through the light but i'd need the extra heat in the winter.. so i could hook up a fan that has a switch so it can be turned on and off.. and is there any therostat that i can easily hook up to my fans so they will turn on when the temp reaces a high level and turn off when it reaches normal.. and if there is would it be able to work for humidity also?

Yep that is the way to go.. There are temp and RH controls at any hydro website its all about how much money you want to spend. I plan on getting on myself.
