Do we know why gravity exists?

there is more dark matter than there is matter. we still don't know what dark matter is, but we know it has gravity.

Why does any thing exist, pad?
We create meaning, by conceptualising our observations. Gravity is just a word,it's theory fits the model as we understand it presently.However new variables will inevitably arise, to negate or expand on what we understand gravity to be.

It exists because of certain particles, and their interaction with other particles. Higs Boson particles, and a few other we are still searching for.

the force of gravity can't be a constant being different atmospheres have different gravity's,even here on tera we have places where gravity isn't consistant,idk though because its all one big mind fuck even for super brains

Dark matter contains dust, gasses etc.
