might just have to call the dmv.. dammit lol. thought itd be a cool project to occupy my time. my brother got a little suzuki 350 enduro or something.. i want to go riding with him without having to load my bikes in the back of my truck.. i got an old xr600 that needs a carb but i dont really like it but im sure i could use it if i gotta
I don't see why u won't be able to use It as an enduro as long as u put dual purpose tires on it

where I'm at we don't need anything but headlight & tail lights,no blinkers or mirrors required, same for cars without shoulder belts,if the vehicle wasn't manufactured with it u don't need it to license it.

I rode a rocket onetime
gxr that was so fast I geared down and walked away for good from those bikes... I'm all about torque now
i had a cbr1000rr sp.. i liked it a lot. was going to buy a new one during the summer but never got to it. i keep finding bikes that catch my eye that i want more. at first it was going to be a brand new cbr1000 or the bmw 1000rr.. then i seen the new harley lowriders, they look real good. and a few days back a seen a ktm 690 enduro that i really want.

i want something but i keep changing my mind lol

i looked into with the 500.. it needs too much to make it legal.. and i dont live in an area where uncle sodomy is legal

i got lost in youtube and i was checking out all the little cafe racers. it got me really interested in a project of my own. i have an old honda CR500r dirtbike (1984) the year before the government made honda restrict them. its fast and its got some work done to it. definitely fast enough for what i want to do with it. i googled the fuck out of this question but keep getting conflicting answers.. can a 2 stroke be street legal? its loud, its obnoxious and itll be insane on back roads and shit... really light bike compared to most street bikes. i got a cr250r too i could do it with but i dont want to booger it up with lights and shit. any thoughts/ideas would be awesome
Aww the old 500 two strokes plenty of power to kill yourself on and none of the modern comforts just raw power waiting to kill or mame ....my kinda bike just like the old three wheelers .....lots of the small scooters mopeds are two stroke so I would assume that if you had all the shit zip tied to it to make it appear legal turn signals brake light etc etc you should be good .....the wrecks always seem way worse on those older bikes lol. Love em though there quick AF

i thought about it... but its not worth the hassle if i do get stopped on it. easier to just buy a new one. then i get a new toy too :)

Lol yes it will they don't make them like they used to
youd be surprised lol.. my cr250 has been through some tough times and never left me stranded once. except once i broke the clutch lever off on a hill climb. had to push it about a mile or so back to my truck. that sucked. but no motor issues yet. that bikes almost 10 years old. but i keep up on it pretty well. dont ride it like i used to but i still change the piston and rings and tune it up about twice a year

Aww but see if that scenario was with the 500 it would have just killed you dead on the hill climb instead of making you walk it a mile back to the truck .......maintenance is always key to having nice equipment no matter what if you ride em hard and put em up wet you can definately expect trouble .....a lil maintenance goes a long ways ....I have several classic hot rods and the worst thing for them is to sit even when stored correctly especially with the shitty gas nowadays
