Where I come from...

I can't seem to find a place that sells proper grow HPS/MH lights.
is it possible to use the ones people use for streets/football fields etc?

can't pay for shipping as I'm not in the US and it would cost me a bundle. Found a 150W for 30$ which i might just get. Waiting for my NL#5 seeds to germinate. Been 8 days already and still nothing

8 days is lots of time mate. how u germ em? is that 30 $ with ballast and ignitor mate?

my 2 NL seeds were placed in wet tissue paper for 3 days, when it didnt work I placed them in soil.
my 2 bagseed were placed in tissue paper in between 2 tea saucers and placed on a mild heater.

None of them want to germ. Temps are between 70 and 85.

The light comes with everything. I'll try to get a pic if I visit the shop and will post it up. Doesnt look like a grow light at all but the shop keep said its a High pressure sodium light.

P.S. Should I be looking at the watt usage or output? The 400 watters looked pretty small compared to the pics I've seen
