Secret Jardin Lodge L90 Setup Help

ya if u can afford LED's then you have another whole foot of space because the lights are only a few inches tall and the plants can be much closer without burning up. This will also help with your ambient heat issue because LED's generally are easier to cool.

Sorry I'm not familiar with typical sizes but would that extra foot allow for Sativas? I'm willing to pay extra for an LED if it helps with the heat issue and allows to grow almost any strain.

What do you think a yield of 2-3 autos in that tent with no compartments. So 90x60x137 overall dimensions
3 autos would probably do about a oz a piece, maybe 2. But autos take like 12 weeks.

To maximize yield in a tiny tent you must be able to make a perfect flat canopy of bud, not really possible with autos. Here is my veg plant. She looks like hell, been cooped up in way to small an area. I literally just hacked the top off her cuz she was growing into the light. When i put her into flower in 2-3 weeks she will have recovered and be able to be tied and trained in the tent to make a nice canopy of bud. The other pic is my Holy Grail Kush about 6 weeks in flower, i failed to stake her well enough, thus she leans like a cholo. This HGK will yield about 300g (10 oz), well below my average so the difference is like 3-6 oz vs 10-15.

Apparently you can scrog a Sativa too, I had to check, never grown Sativas
scrogg would work for sativas, the issue is it is EXTREMELLY difficult and annoying to try to get branches in the back of the tent to behave, the tent is tiny no room to manuver the branches. Scrogg generally requires access to the back of the plant.

I have never grown with LED's so i dont know specifics. I do know that there are 70/30 sativa strains like blue dream, that have phenos that grow similar to indicas. You will just have to find a strain that works for you. This Holy Grail im growing is a bitch, grows like a sativa, but ive made it work.

I'm looking at getting the Lodge l160, wasn't this range of tents only recently released? gotta say they look really slick and I can't wait to get a perpetual cycle going. As they are so new though there is not a lot of info on them, I've been trying to find out the best way to ventilate all chambers, One fan and a ducting splitter? or 2 separate fans for each compartment?

I currently have a Secret Jardin DS120 using a 5" rhino for extraction and I'm using that air to cool the light bulb so if I get a ducting splitter won't that reduce the suction thus making my tent hotter because not so much air is being passed over the bulb?

My guess is it's going to be easier just to get another fan to extract air out of the veg and clone departments, would love to hear opinions though..

Peace!!

This is my first ever tent purchase so I'm new to all of this and will have to, like most everyone here, learn as you grow.

I'm still debating on whether to keep the 3 compartments to have a flowering section (60x60x137) an a veg station (30x30) and a cloning station (30x30) or just use the entire tent from seed to harvest (90x30x137). My goal out of this is to produce the most bud as possible over time for personal use.

i am not sure how these tents are set up either, but generally flouros like you will be using for clones/veg produce very little heat and ventilation is much less of an issue than with a HPS.

This picture is the L90 it has a exhaust hole at the top. You likely can use one fan and just use a splinter to duct the fan to both compartments and just run constant ventilation.

Thanks mate, my only worry is that in the tent im currently using (Secret Jardin DS120), I have an aircooled light with a 5inch inline extracting air and pushing it over the bulb and the temps are PERFECT...

If i buy the Lodge L160 and use a splitter won't that reduce suction in the flowering chamber thus increasing temps?

fan is probably still going to still clear enough air to make it work i bet, a 6 inch fan should be MORE than enough but never head of a 5 inch generally 4 or 6.
