Weather here today remains between 50-80f fair and sunny, there's smoke on the horizon, and a lone disembodied giant red eye cast in flame glaring from the top of a forbidding black tower, watching everything, likely.

I did get cooled off the other night at the camp. I was changing the rain catching bucket when I tugged a little too hard on the line. Got a couple of gallons of rainwater dumped on my head. Luckily I was already in camp attire.

The tarp shelter does catch a fair amount of oak leaves. But it was raining, so most of them had already washed off before I flushed the system.

Its been surprisingly calm here on the Colorado plains...Im thankful bc the poly on my geodesic dome has about had enough 80 mph gusts. Hope she hangs in there just a bit longer (2 more mths)
