you could do that,or use the reflectors and add some of those diffusers to them.i would talk to @robincnn about it.he also has some khatod lenses that may help.i been lookin at those khatod a bit lately.I know the hotspot is in the middle and that is where I have the 4000k. My thought to diminish the hotspot and spread that light a little more is to not put reflectors on the middle ones. What do you guys think?
I was thinking about diffusers as well. I know you lose a little but that may actually help in the middle. I wish you didn't lose any in a way as it would be nice to protect those cobs.you could do that,or use the reflectors and add some of those diffusers to them.i would talk to @robincnn about it.he also has some khatod lenses that may help.i been lookin at those khatod a bit lately.
RZ diffusers are your answer. @Growmau5 had already demonstrated this.I know the hotspot is in the middle and that is where I have the 4000k. My thought to diminish the hotspot and spread that light a little more is to not put reflectors on the middle ones. What do you guys think?
Looks like a ghostbusters smile! LolI'd run them bare. I don't use my diffusers to grow but will put them on while i store the lights or move them to protect the cob.
Lights out tonight. My 2 spinach #4 plants are telling me they are done. 80 days! One of them smiled at me. View attachment 3765352
I took it as a sign. 1/2 the genetics are from A smile(underground originals) plant.Looks like a ghostbusters smile! Lol
Yeah the price is right for sure.Get a couple of the diffusers for the center COB's I think they're like $1 or so.......
Very cool spread. I've always liked the 3-2-3.Here are the completed lights. I love messing with my wife with them. I would have them facing down the hallway and call to my wife, turn them on and blind her. Talk about seeing stars or better yet dots. Wiring the 2nd one went a lot faster as I knew I wasnt going to fuck anything up and I took some scrap angle to mount the dimmer on the 2nd fixture that I got fro radio shack. Each draw 428w and 3.63A. I cant wait to get them hung and fill the scrog.
Thanks. I have benefitted from the input that others have provided. I am VERY excited to see how these work for me. So far I am very impressed. No ballast noise, far less heat than my hps, less draw, and bright. Also very pleased with the coverage. Only drawback is the initial cost, but knowing they will pay for themselves and have a potential 10year lifespan makes that pill easier to swallow.Awesome stuff thanks for all info you do great work
