Much more than say Sin City seeds gear..With those strains especially.the Blue Power based ones...even the less than stellar phenos are damn good. What you want from a good seed breeder are packs where its hard to choose keepers cuz they all are kick ass. Gth from Dankness is not one of them. Phenos all.over the place.

Yer just gonna have to run the whole pack and sort em. Iam not a gth expert by any stretch. I ran a pack....actually my cousin did. Picked up 2 more in Jackson and the Cup...all were duds. That first pack had one that was killer but we let it go and i dont remeber why. It was awhile ago.

Barneys..like greenhouse seeds has been bad luck for me. Tangerine Dream or whatever its called is a joke. There is no way they have cup winners on those seeds.
 
Get your hands on any of the newish breeders in my opinion. Besides Serious and Paradise Seeds the old timers hqve gotten left way behind. Sin City Seeds has fire as does Gage Green MotaRebel...Bodhi Seeds...Ace Seeds. There are a handful of them for all your seed needs.
 
The amount of strains that a company just blasts on the scene with CAN be a warning but it all depends in my experience. There is a such thing as a bad strain for sure. More like the amount of poopy doop within the strain in general. To be honest and usually....i will try just about any strain...ONCE. If i dont find something at least decent. ..shes gone. Cold Creek Kush from ThSeeds comes to mind. Cracked all 10 awhile back. Got 4 females i think. It was awhile ago. All 4 grew similar and uniform in veg. Got my hopes up. All four were complete duff. I grew these in damn near perfect conditions too. Giant hay smelling and tasting. Close to zero trichomes. Just garbage. Like hemp. Never again.

Look at the clone only santa cruz cut of Blue dream...and how breeders try and make seed versions of a haze blue berry cross....most turn out nothing like it. You have to go through alot of seeds usually with haze based strains. And breeders will tell you when working with a Haze...it usually dominates the cross. Haze is a tricky one.

I grew a pack of Sensi Seeds Silver Haze that we smuggled back from Amsterdam in 94. It produced some of the strongest weed that anyone in our Seattle circle had tried. It was amazing once you picked through the seeds that is. One plant left in the rear of the room switched sex after the 4th week and completely fertilized everything in the room, before I discovered it.
The gth#1 did not herm on me, even though I had a hard time feeding her like she wanted and spider mites found her delicious. Perhaps, I should give her another shot and pick her up domesticaly from James Bean. I also have a pack of 501st. Og's to test out but I am gun shy to try.
