Yes. I havent gotten around to setting up an auto drip system nor do I understand how it really works yet.
If your watering by hand maybe you should just wait until the next run to use the trellis ....it makes it difficult to do any type of training besides topping when your having to move plants out every time to water ......I say just top and start doing your homework for the next run ...I'm not sure what your grow even looks like but there's actually pretty simple ways to get water to your girls that are inexpensive and work pretty good .......I've done everything from watering with a hose attached to a long bamboo stick for reach using a tank and a cheap pump to an omitter rings ....depends on the size of what your doing ......but don't forget also that if your guna do this you have to figure out how to control your run off out the bottom of your pots since your not moving them anymore .........but there's honestly great inexpensive ways to achieve all this ...just look into it and see what you like .....maybe just finish your plants the way you are now and get everything set up and working for the next go around .....good luck
Thanks bro. Guess i just better get a drip system and Reservoir. Because i dont know what i would do for the run off. I don't like putting a tray in there because it wastes a lot of space
Would supercropping give me similar results as using a scrog net. Could that be done as an alternative?
I was watching a video on youtube the other day and there was a technique of watering I had personally never seen and after seeing the pics of your grow might be something you could look into .......basically the guy had a set up similar to yours and what he was doing was having each plant sitting in kind of a deep water tight bucket /container and he was giving water from the top and also pouring water into the container the pot was sitting in .....so basically the plant was watered with half the water through the top of the soil then the rest of the water was poured into the container the plants pot was sitting in so it drank from the bottom also .....it was pretty neat to watch and once he was done the plant soaked up all the water he gave it and there was no extra/runoff ......I wish I could remember the video il try and find it .......because he had a break down of how much water for different container sizes etc.....also another thing you could do if you continue to move them to water is just put some small holes in the very top edges of your pots and use plant tie to do some lst I've done this in the past ......but your set up looks good ....il try to find that watering info if you want to check it out .........but just get your stuff together to do a drip for the next run .......GL
I had the same problem with my last crop. Canopy was nice and dense, but the buds were leaning over and eventually even taking them out of the tent was too much of a pain. Ended up putting each pot in a tray but didn't do much runoff the last two weeks.
What do u do about the run off?
