Toronto Tap Water

Hey guys;
I've had quite a bit of early fading and I wanted to check with all of you more experienced growers on the tap water in Toronto.
I'm using Botanicare pure blend grow/bloom
Pro mix hp
600w hps
I was told I didn't have to worry about the water. I dechlorinate but I haven't ph'd or Ec'd
I'm in a condo and I know the water isn't treated coming into the building.

No need to worry about toronto water dude. If yer having issues its due to something else
Nine times out of ten its a watering issue more than anything.

Its pretty good...highly doubt its the cause of your problems. Be sure to mix that botanicare well...its kinda thick

Never underestimate the importance of PH. Proper PH is critical for a wide rage of the nutrient intake spectrum. A nutrient lock out was probably the culprit.

Ph can be a bitch but can easily be managed and not have to test all the time by adjusting your medium. You're doing soilless (pro-mix) medium so you'll need to check it and adjust (ph-up/down) as needed. I played around with mixes until I got a combo that never needs testing ph and it's so easy it's stupid. 50% pro-mix/50% triple mix, done, throw out your ph pen if you had one, use tap water or filtered, bottled nutes or salts, whatever you throw at it, it's balanced enough to make ph a non-issue. I use that mix indoor or outdoor and don't own a ph pen, not necessary.

I would just test the PH after you added your nutes to your water and make sure its within range. If you test it once and it is, likely every time you feed it will be in close enough range. (5.5 to 6.5 ph is normal for growing)
