they don't harm the people they purport to help. every time wages go up, they go up at a faster rate than inflation does, meaning a net benefit to the worker, and not harm. this is demonstrable through a quick examination of goods listed on the BLS survey and comparing it to wages over time.

Raise the minimum wage to $10 in the south and many people will lose their job. One price doesn't fit all in this nation, its too large and economically diverse, and must be determined on a smaller scale. The minimum wage in San Francisco is $16 if i remember correctly, which is still not a living wage, while $15 is a decent job in Mississippi.

Whats wrong nationwide? I'll move from SF to Atlanta if thats where the american dream is, problem solved.
