Speed of exhaust fan question

I have a 4 x 4 tent and 347 CFM exhaust fan with a speed controller. My question is when during the grow is it necessary to run my exhaust fan at full speed or is it ever necessary to run it at full speed? Is mid speed okay to save on electricity?

Depends on air temp and CO2 levels.

I dont use co2. My temp is 77.

I started mine on high and kept lowering it until i was happy with the temp that was holding.
