My 6 plants for 2016

Hi this is my first real post on riu. I've been lurking for years. I thought I might as well share since I use the forum. I don't wanna be one of the guys who talk but never show. I only did 6 this year because of space issues and smell issues. I have a gg4, space Dawg, stardawg, grape inferno, monster cookies, and a tga diesel. Space Dawg, grape inferno, and diesel are from SeEd the others are clones. I like to mix up my own soil and puts tons different meals, guano, mineral dusts, and all the extras but I just did not have the time this year. So I have 100g fab pots filled with 1/2 oceanforrest, 1/4 coco peat, and 1/4 coco chunks. I also threw in a 4 cuft bag of super coarse perlite. I've been feeding them max sea and trying to keep them short. They're caged and I'm gonna toss the trellis netting over once my branches start dancing in the wind. Here's what it looks like this year.

I know a few are messy. I've been trying get to get to it but life has been keeping me busy. Any comments questions or concerns? I have thick skin. Thanks for checking my thread. I would have done a journal or grow log but I can't access those yet.

Looking good bro, where you at? Has your stretch started?

Thanks; I'm in South Sacramento ca. Most of my plants started stretching already they're gonna start stacking. My star Dawg and monster cookies haven't stretched too much yet. They're all between5-7ft atm. Hopefully they don't go to far over the fence. I've been hitting them hard with molasses and kelp every other feeding to help them stack.

welcome bro....beautiful plants. I'm in sac also.....you do know there is an outdoor ban in sac don't you?
LOL they're outdoor for now... gonna throw up my "structure" with locking door soon. So they will be "indoor" to my knowledge lol. I know all my neighbors, they know to a certain degree. They all said they wouldn't complain to the piggys. Which in sac is what has driven most of the raids on personal gardens. I know I'm dancing on the line. I'm not too worried. Ive been here a while and there are many gardens over here closer to the 99 plant limit in tiny backyards. I only did 6 for personal use this year which is less than half of what has been done before. I have a nerve problem so I'm not just medicating for headaches. I need my meds and cannot afford club prices so this is what it comes down to. I don't stick out so hopefully I don't get hammered. They know I'm here for sure. I always drop my draws and shake it for them when they circle my yard in the chopper.

LOL I was gonna say i saw ur gh in another thread and it looks awfully familiar. I get mine from Harbour freight when the 99 dollar coupon comes in the mail. Do you secure your cover to the ground at all. I'm thinking about roping mine down, or putting rebar into the ground and setting the poles over them. I duct tape all the joints so it's strong enough to stay together. But last year one of my covers flew 3 houses down when it was really windy. something needs to be done this year.

I attach a 50lb concrete building block to each leg & that keeps them in place.

I only have a block on each corner in this picture, but there is no cover. I usually have a block on each leg. I have a piece of 2x6 attached to each foot & I can slide the brick over the leg pole & it will sit on the wood & hold things down.

I think I'll use your idea thanks. I have bricks from when I tried to use them like you did but i didnt think of adding the wood foot. When I used the bricks the plastic feet would always find its way out of the brick.

I like putting weight on them but I also bought 2, 12" nails per foot. I use one to go straight down and one at a hard angle for counter rotation and it seems to work pretty well.

Update

I was going to take pics of single plants but I pretty much have 2 large hedges now; which is what I had planned for. Things are moving along nicely no surprises yet. Bud structure is looking good. I burned the hairs a bit but not much. My pants have been mag Def. Which makes sense because I'm using at least half coco. I added some extra salt and they're back to looking happy.
