My point is there is no need to bash it or boast about it. It's just 8 cobs. 2 timber kits, 2 mau5 kits it's 8 cobs. I haven't done any side by sides with plain cobs vs cobs and supplemental but I'm vegging under the monos on my light instead of my single cobs because they do much better. They even blew my cmh away.

CXB3590 kills CMH. The number of chips is irrelevant.

What's special about the fixture is that it's a real, actual, proven to beat a thouie LED light. At a reasonable price point, to boot.

The maximizer is reasonably priced?

Maybe I shouldn't have questioned the reasonably priced part but when there are others out that are hundreds less I couldn't bite my tongue. I have nothing against the manufacturer and know all to well about buisness, markup, retail and wholesale. With the lighting market I only can guess. I agree there are companies that may make pennies on the dollar but when there are other lights priced much lower or the components can be purchased for half the msrp at retail prices I can't imagine there is minimal markup.

All I'm saying, is I could build that light for half the price. Couple 6" ducts, some sheet metal painted white, already got the lenses collectin dust. 2- 36 x 12" heatsinks, and 2- 12"x12" heatsinks to build the square, and vuah lah.

The good news is that once you have a product, you can set about reducing its cost. That process is well underway for the Maximizer.

Is that supposed to be an Insult, you ass? That's something I built per instructions off a video before I got Into LED over a year ago.
You're calling someone ELSE an ass?

That's pretty special.

I'm still waiting for you to grow up.

It's a good thing I'm a patient man.

Ya I sure am. He's sarcastically throwing up pics of old builds to make me look unfit to build anything nice.

Looking to find some Lenses for CLU058-1825's, does anyone know what lens/holder combo will fit this massive cob?

(KB80's isn't our only option is it?!)

Cheers!

Haha! Cuddles is souped! Go Cuddles, it's your B-Day!

It's 8 cobs. That's it
That's 1.4 GPW. Which seems to be about the norm for a decent grower using cobs or a good led. But not all growers are decent soooooo, we don't get to see that much.
It just really cool to see a pre-built, vendor unit getting those #'s. People need to know that others can accomplish these goals of over 1 GPW so they know it's possible for them w/ the light they buy, if they can grow.
What I want to know, is, (not being negative at all) did the grower deduct the pop-corn & flarf? Because my SC & Amare both achieved a chunk more then I submitted as dry weight. But that is because I did not clean up the bottom of my plants.

Ex: SE-450 = 21.8 oz. on my first led grow. I submitted 18.5 on my thread.
SC = 1.8 lbs, I submitted 1.5.

You basically got that on your first grow w/ your SE-450's & your #'s are climbing quickly.

So, it's not that these #'s are a surprise, or incredible, it's just that we don't get to see that on RIU threads w/ any vendors lights.

I give props to the Maxi & StephenJ, who never said my lights were poo, & seams to conduct himself in a professional manner, that I'm aware of.

Although I'll be using Pro-9's if I go the vented led route.

Please stop saying vuah lah. It makes you look like such an ignorant fool.

The word you are looking for is voilà.

I have been ignoring your content for months, so sometimes threads read like this comic strip.

Which I prefer to reading your drivel.

In this case I decided to help. You're welcome Airwalker.
