None refined it has a nice mellow thought shift affect for me. Cool to see your growing your own. Every plant we use that we grow ourselves is nice. The less we trust a profit mongering stranger the better. ( food included)

I agree with you . Straight dry leaves put me into a deep meditative state as well. Although I can go deeper with unrefined with consecutive Brips. Lol i don't know if trusting strangers less is good for humanity though ;). But yah I worry about how clean people are doing crude extracts. I always picture it in a bathtub with a ring of soap scum

Striaght off the plant for me. I try some 5xshit from a head shop and it was garbage I got a slight shutter feeling in my arms and legs and that was it. This plant is way better buy its self. Agood hit off the pipe you'll get aslight alteration of preseption, a bong rip and off to pluto.lol....

How are the girls coming along caverage? I have 4 (2 luna 1 h/w and 1 blosser) coming my way next week. Im still deciding on what potting soil mix to go with. Im thinking a 50/50 fox farm ocean forest/perlite blend with a couple 54w t5s. Gotta love a plant that isnt light hungry for indoor growth.
Im interested in those seed grown you have. Quite rare from my research...so rare it should be your own strain.

1471022286170.jpg It's funny people saying that about the seeds. How do you suppose they came to be without seed..lol. Anyway cool beans, love to see pics when you get them. Here they are but not flowering yet.

An organism reproducing "in the wild" v in captivity is quite a different thing when we get our paws on it. Im a new gardener but have much experience with captive marine aquariums and coral.

Am I in error or are there many people growing S. Divinorum from seed? I know D. Siebert has grown some. I hope it happens more than Ive read. Clone after clone is not healthy genetics.

Im not reading much here regarding optimum light spectrum for these. In aquariums actinic bulbs are excellent for several reasons. I understand that water and absorption of spectrum is not necessarily applicable in air, but I personally plan to grow these under a mix of 4 bulbs...2 6500k and 2 420nm actinic. A simulation of dawn and dusk cycles is optimal for zooxanthellae and perhaps it will benefit these plants similiarly.

Im leaning towards a mix of topsoil and some worm castings/soil type with perlite in generic black nursery containers 12" across and 11" high. (changed my mind regarding the fox farm)

Im obviously brand new at this but have a gut feeling that my experience with captive coral and knowledge of light spectrum will benefit me.

I have done as much research as I can regarding how its traditionally approached and from what Ive read smoking is an absolute no no. I dont judge anyone though...we are all walking down our own road.

Farmerfischer...the bushiness of those...from what ive read they are getting plenty of light. Not getting enough light equals leggy plants? Is that correct?

Also regarding spectrum...is it true the the reddish spectrum, ie: 2000-3000k promotes flowering in general, and your more bluer spectrum ie: 6000 and above promotes folliage/leaf growth?

Forgive the newbie questions but in marine aquariums and purchasing 400 dollar 4" corals it pays to research.

I'm no expert but from my own experience they like some red for flowering. And yes week light makes for leggy plants but H.I.D.s are not necessary to grow'm. H.O. fluorescent bulbs work fine for them

Everything going good here as far as growth. My only concern is with my W/H... She is much thicker at the top stem wise than at the bottom. So much so that I'm worried she might snap off. The stem at the top is easily twice as thick..almost 3 times. Anyone else have this on theirs? I keep a nice breeze blowing over them. I got 2 lunas a blosser and a W/H

Awesome, Wish I could grow some but its too hard to get here now days so no one ever has clones.
Only time Iv had it was 200X when it use to be sold on every corner shop.
1 bong hit and it sent you to a different world. Then it got made illegal because it was getting sold to kids.
