yea ur right its tight. So is that 500 watts over a 4x4? So 2 4x4's? Thats so fucking tight.
okay so are you saying that COB > all other leds? why? The sol9 i mentioned earlier uses 9 100watt COBs. Is this unit also better than all other non-COB leds?Helio is in a different league but that doesn't make them better than a proper COB rig...
So you look around this site you will see grows of people doing over a pound off lets say a little over 400 watts. This is from cob leds. Theres like 10 people doing it on this site. A few people have done it with less on a double harvest. Dude this all boils down to how good can you garden? If your really willing to drop some racks, get the cobs man. Get 750-800 watts worth and you will probably shit yourself. And this is coming from an hps guy, but the grow shows are all over this site.If there is something I need to read please link it. Im willing to put in the effort to make my own decision I just need to know I am making the best decision for my situation. And not getting sold on some gimmick - like adjustable from your phone.
Ding ding ding ding ding!okay so are you saying that COB > all other leds? why? The sol9 i mentioned earlier uses 9 100watt COBs. Is this unit also better than all other non-COB leds?
I keep seeing Cobs have a very high rate of failure especially in models with high wattage input.
Edit- I see from a previous post that the quality COB chips are CREE CXB3590/3070, CitizenCLU, or VERO29/10. I assume most retail lights do not use these chips and that is why DIY kits are so highly recommended?
