Really cuts into the profit margins when you bring in help. Trim at your own pace. The stuff left to trim in February sells just as well as it did in oct.I really wish I had a crew or family to help me out like some of you! I'm hoping I can round up some helpers for trim this fall.
Better.Really cuts into the profit margins when you bring in help. Trim at your own pace. The stuff left to trim in February sells just as well as it did in oct.

That would increase drying time tho right? Prob not as much tho I'm guessingYeah Marco convinced me to try dry trimming again by posting his experiences and imho wet trimming kills a fraction of good smell. After researching it and personal experience, I just pull off the big water leaves now and a few bigger, bottom of the bud sugar leaves and let her dry. There was an instant response from my buyer and his customers. Sold me.
Thanks man.....I will give it a go this seadon! Really thanks!I couldn't tell a difference in dry time by more than maybe a day, but the real difference was in way less to zero "hay" smell and more terpine flavors preserved. I read something about these hormones that are released when the blades are severed, much the way a fresh cut lawn has that hay smell. That sounded stupid until I noticed the difference in smell and flavor immediately and more importantly folks who didn't know what I had done were saying it was better. It seemed when I wet trimmed I had to cure a lot longer to get my smell to return.
With that said, that's my personal experience with a small sample set.
