nice looking dog. I was tempted to post a very nice pic my woman working in her plant room wearing her birthday suit but I don't think roolitup would approve lolYes Brian she does look hot, just an FYI I'm a lower unit type so more of those would be greatly appreciated, here's my dog with his "Plenty of fish" profile pic View attachment 3750827

Two recomendations...
1- Buy a 600w switchable ballast so you get a choice of 250w/400w/600w.
2- Never use cfls again.
don't dogs live a tuff life .I would trade a dog for a week . and he can do my job I bet he would hate it . how often do we get excited as they do all we have to say is car ride and they are jumping all over . that's like us winning the lotteryOh and yup that's his couch hence the mud lol, he sleeps on the porch when he gets stinky from swimming all day, catches fish .
Cfls suck, they need to come up with a better design.why not use the CFL's to veg the next, tray. or whatever.
They have, it's called T5's . I have great luck using them right up to the switch.Cfls suck, they need to come up with a better design.
+1 600 watt that is dimmable (adjustable) or even a 1000 watt that is dimmable. You beat me to it.
You don't even have to go to Amazon. You can get some totally decent full kits even from Home Depots website. I ended up ordering just a light and they didn't have the one I ordered in stock.
They upgraded it for the same price with an adjustable ballast. Ballast also has a nice little self cooling system.
But their lights will get the job done and won't kill your wallet.
Just make sure you order a MH bulb along with it if you plan on using MH for veg. Because they usually come with a HPS bulb.
I did see that thread and yes very interested in them. So just to clarify they fit right in the t5 fixture and no other mods required? Just wondering if I could use 2 out of 4 in my hood and add different T5 tubes as well.better yet I posted about a t8 drop in led bulb made by phillips I swear by them for veg and clone . saves 35 watts per bulb . growth is tight node spacing tighter then a mh . zero stretch . healthy light . I have a bunch of leafs actually curling around one of the led bulbs I never raised it I don't go in that room often not burnt at all .
Right t8's, threw all them away lolI bought the ones from homedepot they do NOT fit into a t5 hood only a t8 or t10 bulb the advantage to this the t8 hoods or light holders are very cheap compared to the t5 . and the t8 Philips is a white color . the drop in for the t5 or more then likely pink .
