Planning a sealed tent

You need a/c ect... Its better to just dump the tent and setup a flower room for your needs. Its much easier to seal and cool a room vs a tent. You also have more room for lights, oscillating fans ect.

Which led's again?

You also need time to figure out the cuts, it gets more sensitive with high canopy temps and they can all act differently.

You are just burping c02 right? Imho 1500ppm is useless at 40w/ft you are more likely using it as a heat stress band-aid instead of a metabolism booster.

The only thing that article pointed out in terms of actual numbers was concentrations over 10% can be lethal. That's concentrations of over 100,000 ppm's, were talking 1500 ppm or less for growing...
He's not really experienced, he's still learning about cfl vs hid ect. What does 180db mean?

in excess of 180 decibels, I used to be big into car stereo systems and I just thought it was a cool screen name when I was younger because the loudest systems were getting close to 180 db so i just still use it on forums and whatnot.
180db is measured at the port, different mic locations = different numbers, 180db sealed would kill you lol.
I used to previously compete meca trunk and modified classes but now its all just for fun. Im doing 152 sealed at the dash with 2 12's each on its own 4300.1 and im happy lol!

I have a 5x5 tent that I want to use as sealed environment with co2. I plan on using about 1000watts in the tent and I know if I'm not venting any air out the inside temp is going to get too hot. What would be the best way to keep the temperature down and still keep the tent a sealed environment ? Also one more note is that I'm planning on using 1000 watts of led lights(actual watts) so an inline hood isn't an option for the led set up
ok, so I am not going to be able to answer your question, but does anyone else think its a lil much for just one led panel?
a sealed co2 system is best for a full-on commercial grow, with inside dehums, and a/cs
with a 5x5 tent even with your co2 level ideal, HOW much extra herb is that gonna get you?
balance that with all the costs of the setup, electricity costs, high temps, and at the end you'd be better off with a traditional vented system.
water transpiration under high photosynthesis is a bitch too.
just my thoughts man
I did co2 for almost four yrs, never saw the real advantages over a normal proper vented grow.
maybe 5-10% more, but it wasn't worth the chore and money to always be chasing the temps and humidity.
I sold my tank, regulator and solenoid.

I agree. No quicker growth will be noticed if environment isn't built for it. I've seen people run c02 with cfl's LOL

The most I ever hit was 151.3 back in 99 or 2000 at the dash with two 18" jl audio w3's and 2 rockford 800.2's in sealed box and untuned for the most part, the competition I went to was ending that day so my friend was hooking it up as I was driving lol
That's very good for kid toy amps, took me over 8000 watts, 4 batteries 600sq.ft of deadener to climb over 150 as well as everyone els in my class. That should have been recorded and put up as a record on 1600w lol

It's less about the money I'm well off in that sense but more about what's the best I can do like gpw and what not.... I've done well without co2 and I've briefly tried co2 does make things a lot more complicated just like you mentioned and prolly isn't worth the hassle or money but I want to see if I can figure it out and if not it's easy to switch to a regular vented system
