anyone?should i continue using molasses alone or go back to my 4-8-14 nutrients for now
Depends on the molasses. Mine has, like, 800mg of K. Some have 300, 500, 1200, etc. And plenty of calcium, iron, and other things.Molasses is 1 0 5 I'm pretty sure
This is partially a myth. It depends on genetics. I have the biggest light leak ever with no issue.are you every opening the tent during a dark cycle? Just some mild light exposure can revert them back a week.

Not True.are you every opening the tent during a dark cycle? Just some mild light exposure can revert them back a week.
By the same token, it has always been my understanding that the CA and K "and other things" in molasses is not in a form that the plant can make use of. Microbes in the dirt like the sugars et al though.Depends on the molasses. Mine has, like, 800mg of K. Some have 300, 500, 1200, etc. And plenty of calcium, iron, and other things.
The microbes eat the molasses and turn it into a form the plant can take up, just like with harder substances you wouldn't think a plant could take up, i.e. Bone, blood, meat, etc.By the same token, it has always been my understanding that the CA and K "and other things" in molasses is not in a form that the plant can make use of. Not sure what you are trying you say. You seemed to first indicate that the plant's need for K can be fulfilled by the K in the molasses. I don't think that is true. The microbes eat the molasses and turn it into a form the plant can take up, just like with harder substances you wouldn't think a plant could take up, i.e. Bone, blood, meat, etc.
It can. 800 ish mg per Tbsp. The microbes eat it and shit it out into a complex, organic substance that contains all of the nutrients the molasses had in a form the roots can take up. The decayed organic matter is bacteria shit that's also immediately sourceable plant food (immediate after breakdown). Not sure what you are trying you say. Think what you will, but it is my understanding that the K needed by the plant is not provided by the molasses in that way. I wish it was. And I don't think the Ca or Fe is either. Please check it out yourself before offering advice on it.It can. 800 ish mg per Tbsp. 4-8-14 isnt high...its basically the same as 1-2-4. as for my molasses there is NO nitrogen in them.Molasses will work fine 4 8 14 seems high in k to me but I grow organic i use molasses though out
