pretty much all the same, they will work, but buy a cheap HPS for flower. even if its only 400 watts.

if your plan on only veg with these I currently switched to Philips led tubes they drop Into a t8 bulb and they are very bright only 19 watts per tube and they work very well for mother and rooting . homedepot has them total would be about 110 and compare the out put to 450 watts t5 only using about 160 watts total .
