Transplanting before 12/12

If plants have been in 3.4L pots for 8 weeks and I'd be about to transplant them into 19L pots, then how long should I let them veg in new pots for the rootz to develop before switching to 12/12?

Would 2 weeks be enough before switching to 12/12?

Another question - Should I feed them more Rhizotonic in this time? If normal doze would be 2ml per liter, then should I give them maybe 4ml per liter?

I'd give em at least a couple weeks. Don't know anything about Rhizotonic, but I wouldn't give em anything unless I knew they absolutely needed it.

8-10 days is ALL I ever give them after the last up potting! In fact I prefer 8 days....
When ever I up pot, all I ever use is a good Kelp extract.....In college studies on the use of kelp extract. It was found that it can increase root growth by as much as 170+ % !!!!!

I say that the single best "supplement" to use is a good Kelp extract!
I like Age Old kelp and Maxicrop Seaweed.
