Did I harvest too late?

Hi - i grew some Haze plants - i harvested them when there were some amber trichomes but i thought the majority of the trichomes were more clear/cloudy

the high does seem less head and more body/relaxed

however, the buds were cut only 4 days ago and Im starting to cure them - will it get stronger as it cures over next week or so?

thanks

Yes longer the cure the better also drying should've took around a week or so don't place in the jar to early or you'll have moldy flowers do much more reading starting now about curing. Also when looking at trichs focus more on the flowers then the leaves cheers

You can't tell how ripe a plant is from trich color. Not all plants get amber trichs. It's a weed fallacy, a common one. If you know from experience with the particular strain that it's best when trichs are a certain color then it might be a reliable indicator, but otherwise probably not. Basically, when the plant stops active bud growth and almost all the stigmas are brown and retracted it's chopping time. I see lots of buds with immature hairs on them being sold in dispensaries and elsewhere, obviously not ripe. You hardly even see hairs on buds that are really ripe. All you see are calyxes. A hairy bud is an unripe bud.

okay see this is whats been bugging me, i have experience with growing, but i dont have experience with haze strains and its been an issue, i posted before but never got a response. this is a viper city from moxi, i took a sample bud. i think the plant looks ready but the buds still have allot of clear trichs. it seems to keep making more. the buds not getting any bigger and have some good weight keeping the branches down. iv had someone try a sample bud. i myself tried one but a week earlier. fast onset, and my tester became very annoying and couldnt give me a decent report. and then eventually would answer questions i asked except the ones i cared about which was pissing me off. my tester also seemed to keep passing out but claimed to feel to want to be engaged in something.

here are some pics of the trichomes. you can see the clear ones as mentioned, all the hairs on all buds have turned orange about 2 weeks ago.

It looks pretty ripe to me. All the hairs browned out and it's quite resinous, some trichs look white. You didn't say how long they flowered though. It would have to be probably 10-11 weeks for a Haze.
