I use GH Maxi-Bloom (Lucas Formula) which can be used in the veg & flower mode....cheap and easy

others use Dyno-gro and Jacks which are cheap but very effective

I would stay away from Miracle Grow...but some folks use it.

i second on the maxi-bloom. its just 15/bag. i just started using maxi grow in veg to see if it made any difference but for a while i had been using bloom for both with good results. Iv found shops usually have it at the same price as online so you dont need to worry about trying to save end up paying for shipping.

I third Maxibloom for the entire grow via Lucas formula.

You can get a small bottle of Dyna Gro. Either the Foliage Pro, Grow, or Bloom for around ten bucks on Amazon.

Both GH Maxigrow, Maxibloom, and Dyna Gro products mentioned are complete nutrients, it's just that the NPK ratios are different.

Hey Edna. You growing in soil? Iguana Juice Bloom by Advanced Nutrients is a solid choice. I've had MUCH better results with the juice than I ever got with the General Hydro line. Plus you're less likely to burn your plants since it's organic. It ain't the cheapest, but the problem with buying cheap stuff is you often pay too much for it!

Go organic. Dr. earths and get high from cheap organics. It's gonna blow your mind. Take it up another notch with some tea's when you get more advanced and you'll get ripped. I don't do Britney, Whitney, or Lindsey just the cannabis and i'm tellin ya mate organics is the way to go.
Before you take stoney Mcassholes advice take a gander at his burnt up plants and note that he is a cheerleader for the shittiest, most popular with struggling stoner, LEDs.

All this advice is a dubious since you havent shown up your grow, told us about your medium or your environment.

Hey Edna. Yeah, that's the stuff. Like I said, I've had better results using that one bottle of juice than I've had using the entire line of General Hydro (base nutes AND additives). I've tried General Hydro, General Organics, and Fox Farm nutes - but when it comes to being simple and effective Iguana has outshined them all. Its all in one bottle so less mixing/mess, and the fact it's organic makes it less likely you'll stress your plant. Both GH and FF (or any synthetic nutes) will burn the shyt out of your plants if you aren't careful.
Oh, and when the word "organic" is mentioned someone will always pop up talking about DIY super soil, or homemade compost teas, etc. That's all fine and good, but that shyt takes time and effort. Iguana Juice is a shortcut to getting those sweet organic results, but out of a bottle.

My last post has pics of a northern light x big bud grown w/ Iguana - today is actually harvest day! :peace:

I am using regular cheap, nute free soil and i'm using a 150w hps on two of the plants in scrog, and a 278w ('600") watt mars hydro LED panel. it's in my shed that gets hot sometimes becaue the weather has been around 90 degrees, sometimmes over 100 and I have no real way to cool it besides a fan. also I have no reflective meterial.

@Edna Baptist

heat will be your biggest issue to deal with...100F is really high...maybe on really hot days you could shut down one of your lights/panel

it would help for reflection if you could paint your shed inside walls with a flat white, or use mylar (emergency blankets) but stay away from tin foil

as for nutes...I would highly recommend you don't use AN unless you have money to burn, as they are over priced and are no better than the other brands mentioned.

I have used GH in soil and it works just fine.......you only use the nutes every second or third watering.....more is not better

Edna what have you been using so far? If the soil for sure has no nutrients and i had little money id use cactus juice.
How many weeks of flower are you expecting?

If youre going 8weeks or less this a very inexpensive option: https://www.amazon.com/Grow-More-3130-Cactus-1-Pound/dp/B000ZOICVA

Not sure if you mentioned the strain but if those are long flowering sativas I might give them light dosages of legit tomato ferts.

I'm sure the cheapest is something like miracle gro or some other generic "good for general" plant fert.

I grabbed what looked cheapest at my garden center ($9/2lb) which was Earth Juice Rainbow Mix. I'm sure if I tried at all I could have found something cheaper on the next shelf.

I use them, no struggle.

As to his advice... I don't know about the brands, or his grow... but organic is always good, especially since you can do it by composting your own scraps at little cost (time being the main)

Her medium (she said) is soil... her environment... who cares?.. she asked for the cheapest, not the best/most inexpensive for a specific situation. I know people in all kinds of environments that use cheap stuff like miracle gro and get along swell. If she was that concerned with production, she wouldn't be looking for the cheapest ;-).

So yeah, as general advice: any decent fert will work... just check the ratios and apply as recommended (or less... you can always add more :-P).

Update,
The one plant that is not in scrog (under 600w mars pluto) looks to not be too healthy, red/puple stems, leafs not looking good over all, has not been for a few weeks now. i have not had the money untill this month though to buy cal mag, and flowering nutes (I used barely any nutes at all on them for veg,)
However the two plants that are under my 150 watt HPS in a 3x3 scrog seem to be flurishing, not one bit of purple and it was not untill today (the day all my nutes showed up) that I noticed a yellow leaf on the bottom part of one of the scrog plants, everything else was bright green and reaching for the light, and getting bigger every day.

Anyways, so my cal mag and flower nutes came today, https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00NF02XKW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I do not have a ppm meter yet :( but i assumed it would be fine to give them the recomended dose of both Cal mag and the flower nute, which was 5ml per l for cal mag and like 3 or 4 for the flower nute. however i did add 4l of water instead of 3. thoughts guys? i just flipped them to flower like 7 days ago i just started to notice a pistol on the one plant last night, might make a new thread with lots of updated pics unless you guys want me to just post them here?

Look into Dyna gro line. It's the only 1-part formula out there. Very concentrated too. Only 1/2 tsp per gal and you're done. (+ silicon supplement)
