Plant Neglect

Well..I've been on here lately showing off my shit and bragging about how everything has been great.
I better fess up to some plant neglect. How the hell did I miss this
I was under the plants thinning them out a bit and found one of my Bangi's split. It has hardened off well and didn't seem to bother it much. It has actually become the more robust of the 3. I have split my share of branches and trunks before trying to coerse them but always taped them at that time, never had issues. I know I don't want water in there, not quite sure what to do. Anyone use any kind of tree limb seal or such, or would that even work?

I'd leave it be. It looks like it healed up already. Some cultures of growers purposely walk on the stems to toughen them up.

Man I have found some gnarly splits I never new happened. Generally happens where it was topped and than trained thru a cage opposite of each branch .

they are right best to leave it but may I suggest just some sort of support there like a cable tie or something not to join it but just to be there in case it wanted to split more know what I mean?

had two of the big lower limbs do that on a plant about a week ago, never even wilted..... your fine.

Yeah thanks man that's a good Idea, good extra protection.
It doesn't show in the pic but it has a cage around it and is supported well. I'm certain while tying up the branches I got a little rough with her and didn't notice. The wife says I have a tendency to do that at times...maybe it's that splayed look I'm after.

Has happened to me a few times when i trained a plant to go too far laterally. I tied the branch that split to some hooks I had up high.

I'm more surprised by the fact you haven't trimmed all those twigs coming out of the trunk,
