We know that's not true. HC cannot determine dosage and 6 plants will not supply enough to fill most scripts.
We need to be ready to do something drastic on August 25th to fight back. Have 'sit-ins' at your MP's office...or on his/her front lawn. Blockading highways seems to be an accepted protest method and are really good at getting media attention quickly, imagine if we shut down the BC Ferry system for a day or even a few hours. I have absolutely no issues with getting arrested for expressing my democratic right to protest. Our only hope of winning will come from public pressure and embarrassing the government...and the courts.

i would love to see how a person can grow the average of 18g a day with 6 plants.
yes you can grow trees but the average person can't/won't.

This abstract concept was brought up at the trial (Allard). Next month tune in for step by step instructions on how to grow one pound plus plants for all your medical needs...
Saying how big is a plant is like asking how dumb is a HC worker. It is non-quantifiable. Except we know HC workers sure can do some dumb things....

Nobody likes the rumors mcrci has posted. Unfortunately Canada is the smallest market of patients and WAS the only program to offer 1g = x number of plants. From what i understand, we did not win the right to grow we won the right to better access. Growing at all would be a suprise for me, but il take whatever i can get.

i heard our health minister talk about ensuring access and nothing about home grows so i am very curious.
i bet that if we go to court our lawyer will have the plaintiff with current paperwork that needs changes!

I hear what you're saying, but who decides what 'reasonable access' is, and how do they make that happen? My 'script' is 300g/month and my income is $800. I'm not covered by any drug plan even if one existed for mmj, so in order to facilitate reasonable access and satisfy the courts, they are going to have make the taxpayer pay and I can't see that as being a popular move. And it still wouldn't address the judges concerns about 'unreasonable limits' on our freedoms, or what ever the wording was. There is no justification to restrict our rights.

Sadly, 'reasonable access' will be determined by ex-cops, bias politicians, and a corrupture government agency.
Bottom line, in your case, and correct me if I'm wrong, but you need to produce cannabis at around .05/g in order to live. I think an LP would be hard pressed to have a plan for your situation.
Growing, in your case, is defined as reasonable access, in my humble opinion.
Now if we can just convince the people in charge of 'helping' patients.

LP and Pharmacy store fronts. If they get any of the chain pharmacies that litter the country like Tim Hortons they got Canada covered. Right to access does not cover affordability. if we won the affordability thing that that would cause serious issues for pharma prices as a precedent was set.

The mmpr provided access to all patients, so that was no longer an issue. The fight WAS over affordability,imo. Simply making mmj available at Shopper's Drug Mart doesn't change anything to address the court ruling. Pharma drugs are covered by drug plans and there are programs that help pay for some if not all prescription costs for low income people. If they wanna start treating it like other medication, I'll go on welfare and get 100% coverage. Until I get that option, my only means of access is by growing. Even then I'm forced to share space and just grow the minimum in order to keep costs somewhat affordable.

in BC, pharma is subsidized. depending on your income, your meds are free after you hit a certain amount.
when my wife was on all kinds of pharma, we'd easily hit that ceiling and then we didn't pay for what was covered. she was on methadone for pain. if you took it in liquid form it was covered but if you wanted it in pill form, it wasn't covered. i called them and asked why-they told me it was under review....since 2005

They have a cure for hep c now which is fully covered by the bc government if you are on disability/welfare.
approx 900.00 per pill. at least 84 of them.
Did I mention fully covered?
Now if they could put 900.00 per day into a guys weed kitty, we would have no complaints.
Except for the taxpayers, but they would also have the same complaints about paying 900 per day to cure someone of what was most likely a self-induced illness.
They will only cure you once, if you go out and recatch the hep c you are on your own.
