I would speculate about a gallon for every foot tall and a half gallon for every foot wide. If its 10 feet tall and 10 feet wide about 15 gallons a day. Much depends on the strain, heat, wind and also mulch to keep it from evaporating. You have your soil medium as well to consider and also if you are growing with crap fertiliser or only microbes as the more advanced and true quality growers do.

In most cases being gone a couple of days is no big deal to plants in the ground. But since this is a new transplant, I would want to water it good everyday until you leave, then do the old 2 liter bottle with a few holes in the bottom trick. With small pinholes and the lid left on, it will take a long time for the water to leak out.

I do use a lot of crap fertilizer. Cow crap is my favorite, but I also use horse, turkey and chicken crap:weed::P:weed:
Chicken is a bit high in phosphorus for me though I have gone through almost 28000 lbs of worm poop in the last couple years building my soil. Been throwing on a couple hand fulls during the morning watering until I get the 300 gallon tank all connected and sealed up to connect to the grid for some compost tea brews.

Northernlightslover,
Do you have a picture? There are many factors at play. Random guess 2 gallons you should be safe though it could maybe use 4 or 5 depending on how far you go from the stem. The sun and soil temp is a huge factor as well. If you started in a fabric pot your roots would be much larger. Need all the info you have please if you want a proper answer. What you see above ground you could have below just more of a squashed, upside down pyramid.
