Lights are out right now but I will grab a picture from amazon. They are viparspectra 450w. When veg is on its pretty much blues and whites and in bloom its reds and yellows. I was told that using both in flower fill grow better bud but I like to hear from people that have experience, but sadly it seems like most people are using hps.
I use this exact one. You only have to run Veg On/Bloom Off if you're concerned for ekectricity, but at 206w max? You can run both on and keep it full spectrum.
If I am gathering what you are saying I can grow 8 plants under those 2 lights? Does that also mean I have to much light on 1 plant?

I would try 2-4 for now and after you have something to smoke, see what ekse you can do with it. And, yeah, your plant isn't going to take all that light in, so some of that light/electricity is being wasted.
Not to worried about the electricity but just want to make sure its not doing harm.
No, it's just that reds are best for bloom, but as long as both switches are on, it fills out the spectrum, and full spectrum is good for both stages.

Right. I, myself, prefer to veg for a month or longer and have fewer but bigger plants.

I had an epic heat fail with my clones.
Don't snip the leaf tips like people say. Otherwise, just keep them in a humidity dome for 4-6 days, giving fresh air each day, and then lift the dome and water regularly. Be sure to use Clonex.
