I would fill this hole with the same medium you have in the pot if thats possible to menimize shock also at least you know you have a good medium instead of relaying on the soil that you have in ur garden ..

My self I preffer the pots as I can move the pots to where the sun goes in my garden also if its too cold or raining I can move the pots under my back garden tent.

Oh ive also been usin coffee grounds for nutrients..is that ok? Wow 1lb! Thatd last me a good while..yea we have a grape vine and its good camo but im worried about it not getting enuff sunlite..this is my first grow srry for the million questions ha..and once i plant it in the ground will it start to grow alot faster? Im worried cuz i live n wv n i started the seed late and if it gets cold b4 it produces then i wasted my time:wall: im pretty sure im gonna end up plantn er tho! Thanks much for the tips!bongsmilie

Yea ima put all the soil thats in the planter into the hole. I was worried about shockin it..would b my luck lol .but im havin surprisingly good luck with it so im pleased thus far :bigjoint:

coffee grounds,little chicken manure,egg shells...I also heard of an aussie whodug a hole in his backyard,dropped a fish in the bottom and planted his baby,sure made a big plant there.
It is a bit late to grow a big one and the cold should turn your buds purple,
Is there a way you can tent the plant to keep her dry and warm?

So is purple bud good then? I had sum tht was tinted purple n it wasnt that bad! Yea wasnt goin for a big one..ha need it to be bushy instead thats why i topped it. I use like 2 day okd coffee grounds..hmm a canopy would b to obvious lol

I have been pinching my plants for a bout 10 weeks,this makes em round and full of bud sites,also if you do not top and go for the 4 main colas there is a heavy chance of picking up mold in the colder climate,because the big bud holds a ton more dampness.
If per chance your plant was rained on and left to dry on a cloudy day,try not to let this happen.A good old leaf blower is the best tool to dry the buds fast.
