Do most people top outdoor plants?

Yeah u said that already. I don't top tho...I mainline. Better yields then supercropping because there is more to it then just cutting new growth. Better nutrient uptake.

Thanks for keeping up with it. ;-) I'll probably say it 100 more times by the time you have been around here a year.

So, i decided NOT to top. I want to see how tall it will get. It's over 2ft tall now.. popped seed into a peat pellet on June 1st.

My plant is a in 5 gallon pot now. I will probably transplant 1 more time into a 25 gallon pot in about a month.

Question.... Would the roots benefit from a bigger pot during flower? is there a lot of root expansion during flower?

each strain reacts different. learn your strain. I supercrop inside but I don't outside due to being afraid of pest infestation along with retaining moisture. try drilling some holes in the top of your container and tying the branches down with fishing line. tie the line to the rubber coated wire so it does not dig into your stem. more light penetrating the plant will produce more. I repeat, know your strains and you should be fine

my strain is white cookies. is a cross between white widow and GSC. Most phenotype i have seen online are grown indoors and look bushy. Mine looks tall and lanky right now. I probably super crop later when there are more branches..

never grew that but I have grown white widow and loved it. next year, I suggest you get a t-5 light and supercrop the shit out them before you put outside. plants that have been supercropped under a t5 respond and recover so much faster then other lights I have used. start them atlest a couple months before you put them outside and you will have some big bushes

I would nip it; just the very newest leaves on top. You really want lots of branches...it's kind of a waste to go tall first and top them too late; I'd use this time for all the branches to get long. Also get that into a MUCH larger pot.. as above so below best not to let it get too rootbound.
It is a good looking plant so far.
