Hey, sure be careful and have a tidy crib, but don't sweat the home visit much. Each state case-worker is different, but it's mostly bureaucratic protocol, that home visit and possibly required. My buddy and his wife recently went thru the exact same thing with a recent birth. The state worker sat down w her at the kitchen table and asked a few questions during a brief visit. As the case worker left, she said that everything looked perfectly fine and she didn't anticipate anything beyond that day. They just want to know that everything was situated and a safe environment.

They had D's mom was court ordered on 4 heavies including wellbutron with know withdrawls only tested baby for pot.. they took the baby off her tit

Why did they test your baby? Did they test the mother? Did she admit to using weed throughout the pregnancy?
If they didnt test her, and she didnt admit to smoking throughout the pregnancy, just tell CPS that she quit as soon as she found out she was prego. They have no idea how long thc stays in utero. No studies have been done to see how long thc stays in a fetuses blood stream, so plausible deniability is on your side.
None of our kids were drug tested at birth. I'd be fucking pissed if they did. Did they give you any explanation as to why they did in this case??

My little sisters father was a caregiver for four, with a maxed room. Cps came in and inspected everything and gave him the green light, about 8 months later he was raided for trading with an undercover, about 2 months later he was raided again for a fencing operation being conducted at the pawn shop, by the very undercover he trade with. Now siting in prison. Then on the other hand, a female friend of mine had cps come in for unrelated issues, they got wind of the personal grow she had, and offered an ultimatum. Stop the grow or loose your kid...seems about right, dont you think?
