I'm making a 500w CXA/2 Studio 3590 5600k BD build. Here's some pics of the build. I finally figured out how to mount the drivers and figured out how to hide the wagos. I'm almost done just took another smoke break lol and I'm still designing in my stoned mind lol.

Ok the things I used to make this light.

  1. 10-CXA2 3590 Studio 5600k 38v BD 93 CRI
  2. 2-HLG240H-C1400A
  3. 10-Massive passive 133mm heat sinks
  4. 10-Ideal 50-2303CR
  5. 10-Ideal Reflector holders
  6. 10-90 degree reflectors
  7. 4-1"x1"x4' Angle Aluminum
  8. 2-3/4"x1/2"x20" Angle Aluminum
  9. 2-1"x11" Flat Aluminum
The miscellaneous items and tools

  1. Hacksaw
  2. Hand Rivet Gun
  3. Rivets
  4. Drill and Drill bits
  5. M3 and M4 screws
  6. Hex Wrenchs
And the list is still growing lol. I haven't finish designing the light but will be done soon so I can make multiple.

Build on hold until I receive my other parts. Project boxes and male cord connectors so this light will probably my design for sale lets see how it turns out.

More to the list you'll need 2 Hammond Enclosures to hide the Wagos 1 on each side and you'll need a cord receptacle. Plus some rubber grommets.

What's the advantage of 5600k

Compared to 3500k there is more vegetative related energy(Blue spectrum) and less flowering related energy(red spectrum). More vegetative energy typically promotes more root development and more flowering energy promotes more fruit/flower development.

5600K is the accepted, film industry, standard for a "Clear sky" day light at noon. The film industry uses the higher correlated color temperatures for "Overcast" daylight. I can't say exactly why the film industry standards are the way they are.

Instead of WAGO's I make connectors from spades and lugs. Works great for me and reusable too. Similar to what SupraSPL does. I get them from most hardware stores real cheap and they are unnoticeable . I use multi connectors for my power connections but those are not reusable ones. peace
