Serious problem overnight! Help!

Hi guys. Now I knew I had a bit of nute burn happening and ph'd watered for a few days as I can't move the girls for a full flush bit went to take some pics to post on here and seen that this has happened to one of the buds. I thought I was doing ok for a newby but this has thrown me.
Is it nute burn or something else?
What do I do?
I'm 8 and a half wks into flower, under 600w hps, using per 12 lts of water 18ml a and b Dutch Pro, 8ml Shogun Cal mag and 18mm of Dutch Pro Explode.
Does everything else look ok? I'm hoping you can zoom into the pics.
Thanks in advance anyone who can help me.

Humidity is usually around 40-50 but did creep up to 60 something the other day. Been looking at different things now. Are bud rot and mold the same thing?

I am with gardengnome on this one. Definantly looks like budrot (botrytis) to me. This happens when humidity is too high for a longer amount of time. This has happend to me a couple of times. Earlier this morning to be axact. It was a small plant, maybe 2 weeks from harvest, so i just cut it down and trimmed. If i were you, i would remove the infected areas, and inspect ALL other buds for similar brown/dying looking bud. It starts inside the bud, close to the stem, so you have to be very IN THERE in the buds to see it. Good luck! And do it as quick as you can!

Bud rot. Sorry man. Chop it out fast, with fans off, and anything near it, then get your air circulation up and keep your humidity down, watch your temps aren't dropping too low overnight. Do whatever you have to to get all traces of it out of your plants cos I lost so much to it my first harvest. We had to harvest early and loads of got thrown away. We kept thinking we'd caught it all but then it'd appear somewhere else, it was ruthless, heartbreaking. I've got an air purifier in there now and 3x the fans in an attempt to make sure that never returns. Watch your buds carefully when drying and don't try to slow dry it, in my opinion, you want it dried quickly. Good luck, hope you haven't lost much :peace:

I have an 8in fan exhausting and a 6 in intake. There's is a 12 in oscillating fan and all are on 24/7. I have had the intake and exhaust rigged up to a fan controller which slows the fans right down when the temp drops. I've literally managed to maintain 21c to 28c all the way through, give or take a degree on hot days. The humiduty had crept up to 68 which I know is too high.
I've just cut out the affected bud and had a good look. I can't see anything else yet but will be keeping a very close eye o them. I've disconnected the fan controller so I've got maximum air exchange.
It has been raining a lot here lately so maybe that hasn't helped.
Fingers crossed I can make it to the end. Thanks for all your help. I'd of carried on thinking it was nute burn as that was my original problem so you have all really helped. Thanks again.

Watch out for those crispy edges that look like nute burn on the leaves around your bud, that generally means it'll be rotted inside, you have to really open them up, and it appears and spreads so fast; a plant can be the picture of health one day and the next every cola will have rotten spots so you've got to be vigilant, check them thoroughly every few hours and chop out anything that starts to look dead or soggy, take no risks. Really hope you've caught it all mate, they look great other than the rot :peace:

28C = 82.4F
29C = 84.2F
And on top of that it's raining out so it's very humid. Heat + humidity = rot

Solution: Remove as many spores as you can carefully, Google how. 24C lights on and 19C lights off.. Also if you could drop light hours to 10 so we could have a lot more cold that will slow down the mold

I have mate. I went through this evening and there was a suspicious looking one so I've removed that as well. I bought a dehumidifier this evening and I've popped that in there so that should help. I'll check again in an hour or so.

OK. I can do that. Wouldn't that fool them into finishing early as well? Which is something I could really handle about now....shit's stressing me out man! When you say 24°lights on and 19°off, is that just now because I've got rot setting in or that's what it should be always? Ive always thought 21°off and 28° on.
And again, thanks for your reply. You guys have seriously helped me out.
I will change my lighting schedule tomorrow too.

BUD ROT. Cut it off and drop humidity. When packed in close quarters like that bud rot is cancer and loves to eat from the inside out so you may find that a little rot like that spreads up the stem.

for future reference keep the humidity around 45% during flower and make sure you have ventilation even during the dark hours to keep it in control.

Dont go under 21 c Night time..

Use plagron diamond shield as fast as possible combined with your nutes

Up your ventilation

My last crop I had humidity at 60%/65% during the whole grow.
(my humidifier didnt cut it out for me till I started dryen)

Didnt had a probleem just make sure that your night time air temp dont get down rapidly..

I dont advocate high humidity in mid late flower tho ..
