Ready to pull the trigger on led purchase

Hey, as farmers we are always changing the way we do things expecting better results some work while others don't. I've decided to make some changes to learn new things. I've been running ebb n flow with 1k hps over each flood table. I've decided the first thing I want is to try led. I've narrowed my choices to fluence spydr plus or 2 vypr plus per 4x4. Or an amare 450 w uv. I also have a few 8 bulb t5s laying around for supplemental lighting if needed. (I'm also planning on trying current culture setup after I make the lighting switch, but that's a story for another day)Any ideas comments is appreciated.

I hear u ebb, I'm a firm believer in mh/hps and been looking into the new led popularity for heat/energy cost. I see people get good results but growing with HID lights for the past 15+ years it's hard to change. Plus the new led aren't that cheap. The good ones anyways.

Idk that site seems pretty shady
really u get access to the makers of the lights and u rather go retail
i order my lights got them with in 2 weeks during the umbrella roits in hong kong

just talk to the ppl and get the newest price quote for the matrix S 600 and 900

really u can not beat the fact they are daisy chained into one controller .....or they do uv grow and flower or u can program in your own timings
any system u are running more then one light in i have not found a better product well the solis tek spliter is nice turn 1000w into 2 600w 1 ballast with a built in timer

I couldn't agree with you more with more then one light source. I'm using the hortilux bloom t5's with bare bulb hps and loving the results but not the heat.
May I ask how much you paid for your leds?
I heard the some of the Solis teks give out high frequency static that could mess with neighbors cable and make the cable guy come seeing what's causing the interruption. I was gonna buy them when they came out but the hydro place sent them back for this reason. There is a test to check put an am radio near the ballast and see if it cuts out. Not sure how true all of this is but I'd still check it out

they worked for me to make 24% thc in my plants on auto flower

feeding is the key to them right now i am getting a 4 oz avg per plant but it increases as i learn the strain wants and needs

Timber has DIY COB LEDs. I think Dan who works for them posts here. Their DIY set up is a good deal. I have tried a 600 watt Mars Hydro. It seems to work okay but something is not right about it versus an HPS. I will not buy any of those Chinese LED's of Amazon or eBay. They sort of work but not well. COBs seem to be the way to go.

Someone bought me some of those 14 watt LED panels that are cheap and weak. It has lots of blues and reds and the plants love them but they are pretty weak.

The one below is like what I have but my version have a few whites and ambers with mainly blues and reds.. The plants love them including babies out of the clone box. I wish they made em stronger.

Yea 74 sounds pretty tits to me. I looked at kind but seen some mixed reviews. (Seems like there's mixed reviews about every light, nute, technique, strain, or whatever on forums so I take every thing with a grain of salt.) I've been doing hps and flood tables for a few years and lately yield been down and I figured out it's because I'm bored with doing the same thing. I'm changing everything so now it's a new ball game and getting excited about growing again
