Refrigerator as a grow box?

This was probibly the appropriate place for this thread sorry for double posting it!!

OK here goes 1st post... Im thinking of using a side by side fridge for my grow box. Will it work? Im thinking I can divide one side for cloning and veging and the other side for flowering. I would use flourescent and cfl's on the vegging side and buy whatever is best for flowering side. I would grow in dirt. I would like to keep 2-4 plants flowering most of the time. Can this be done the way Im thinking? I ve also seen the aerogarden would this be a better option for growing and just the fridge to flower? I guess my real question is what is the best option for a small garden where no closet or "room" is available? I live on the 2nd floor of a double so Im scared to use the basement for the smell issue, neighbors between me and the plants that way. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Wife and I have decided its time to quit paying as much as we do to smoke the crap we have to. I just want to grow enough to keep me tilted!! :bigjoint:

idea sounds great I would look into a strain that doesnt smell I'm using citrus fuckin great like no smell

but I would do a scrog off 6 plants for flower just separate the fridge into 3 shelf and slant them to the back to any run off goes to a drian to collect at the bottom.

hope she works out sounds good and oh ya you worst problem will be to much heat fridges are insulated to the teeth

There is a thread were a guy uses a up right freezer you still need to vent it for fresh air. Just put your mind to work good luck let us know plz

Dude amazingly enough I saw a guy on youtube growing in a refridgerator just like youre talking about. Look it up and check his thing out. If need be hit me up if you cant find the link, Im pretty sure I saved the vid as a favorite because it amused me so.

Hi there...First I would like to welcome you to Micro-Growing... :leaf:

I must say that it is totally possible to keep yourself supplied...

And there are many ways to go about it...

I am experimenting with an AeroGarden, keeping everything in miniature... hoping to get about 50g/1.7oz in 8 to 12 weeks of flowering...
I have modified my AG with more lights and airstones...
More mods on the way...

There are ways to save money and build your own system...
It's not hard... and at about 1/4 of the price of the AG, plus your choice of lights... so about half the cost...

With that being said...

I was TOTALLY ignorant on growing indoors until 3 weeks ago...

A friend gave me some clones... and I thought...
How can I make this happen????

So I rode my bicycle to "the store" and bought one...
Strapped it to the rear rack...
And I rode away home...

By that afternoon, I had all 3 clones transplanted and 4 more clippings to make roots...

All this without ANY real knowledge of hydro/aero set ups...

So I figured that I paid for more than just the plastic parts...

I have gotten a huge amount of knowledge from using it...

With that also being said...

There are many ways to get the same results...

Wolfman Zen has an AWESOME GROW...

Korvette has UNBELIEVABLE results from an AEROGARDEN...

Hunt around...

And especially, pay attention to people's signatures, they usually have a link to their grow...

Whatever way you choose, make sure you give the site a good read before you decide and commit...

You may very well see the perfect solution, all built up and with a tutorial on how to build it...

Oh! and if you make it a point to read grow journals from the beginning, you will see most of the answers you are looking for...
